Jaehon M Kim, MD, FAAOS: AAOS is the mecca of orthopaedic surgery in my opinion. OVT is basically a library of technique videos that's available to the AAOS members.
Jaehon M Kim, MD, FAAOS: It's a little bit different perspective than reading words. I almost compare it like a Netflix of technique videos. The quality, the production value, and the fact that it's available to any member is a huge benefit and it's something that's really blown up over the last several years. It's an important educational component to practicing surgeons, not just residents and fellows. When the residents or fellows, when they're preparing for their case, they go to the technique videos to prepare for their cases, and that's a very, very common theme across the nation, really anywhere else in the world too. I would encourage everybody to submit their interesting ideas and technique videos to OVT. There are many forms. There are different levels where you can share your ideas and your ideas will be shared by all surgeons.
