I'm here to present a few posters of some research that I've done. Getting the opportunity now to come and present the research at a large international convention is a real opportunity. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons is the largest gathering of orthopaedic surgeons in the world. The opportunity to present at AAOS is a great one because the Academy has always been very welcoming and encourages even trainees at a resident level to come and present. I'm really excited to just show off the hard work that I put into these projects and then trying to pick up some things from people who are coming around as well. Research is super important in medicine. There's a lot of topics that we don't know too much about, so becoming aware of what's out there is a big thing. Getting some public speaking opportunities is incredible. Being in front of faculty and other students and residents is very important. Additionally, you have the opportunity for peer-to-peer feedback on what you're talking about. The AAOS is like the mother of all orthopaedic organizations where you meet with people that you may not otherwise get to, right, because if you go into the pediatric one, you're going to see the pediatric people or just the neuromuscular people, but here, you get to meet with everyone, and this is an opportunity for us to share our expertise to allow them to better take care of their patients. AAOS is all about lifting up the change makers, those who think differently, those who are innovating, those who are pushing our field forward. If you have a new idea, the Academy is where you want to bring it, March 3rd to the 6th, 2027, it's going to be in the beautiful city of Las Vegas. I'd like you all to consider not just submitting abstracts, but think about poster presentations, paper presentations, faculty for symposia. I'd really like everyone, even in private practice, to submit and hopefully we'll have some great information to share with everyone for the meeting in 2027 in Las Vegas. See you in Vegas!
