What do you hope teachers will take away from this course?
Susanne Leslie: Hi, I'm Susanne. I am the course designer for course 5315: The Brilliance of Playful Learning for All Ages. What we want you to take away from this course is a recognition that play is a strategy for all students regardless of the grade. So it's not just for littles, it is for pre K all the way through 12. And you'll find that out in the course with different ideas for using technology to engage students in playful learning. Taking students outdoors in nature for playful learning, game based play learning strategies and more.
What do you love about this course?
Susanne Leslie: What do we love about this course? Well, the main tenant I would say is that it is for pre K through 12th grade. So reminding educators in elementary, middle and high school that play is for all grades. And there are different ways that you can infuse play. We even sneak in a little bit about adult learning and about what kind of play you enjoy as a grown up taking the course. So you can take a little inventory to see where you fit in the play continuum.
