Speaker: Jolene D., Scottsdale, Arizona
Jolene D.: It allows us for time to plan, to be together, to hope, and to be ready to face what comes next once you've received a diagnosis.
Jolene D.: Hello, I'm Jolene DeBranco, and I live in Scottsdale, Arizona.
What's your personal connection to Alzheimer's?
Jolene D.: My personal connection to the disease includes my late father-in-law, who was the 8th of 11 children to develop some form of dementia.
What message would you like to share with Congress?
Jolene D.: I know for families like mine, early detection is so important. It allows us for time to plan, to be together, to hope, and to be ready to face what comes next once you've received a diagnosis.
Jolene D.: The bipartisan ASAP Act would allow Medicare to cover FDA approved Alzheimer's blood tests for screening, giving that time to countless families, including many right here in Arizona. Congressman Schweikert, please help get the ASAP Act across the finish line by the end of the year.
