Creating Co-Curricular Experiences: A Faculty and Staff Research and Collaboration Expo

"My team and I have partnered with the Division of Student Affairs, ORED and the (College of) Arts and Sciences by helping students be able to participate in the undergraduate research symposium, which is very important because it actually is the first time that many students have ever presented at a scientific conference. We also try to use these avenues to support our students who are going with us to Ghana and Zambia to do research in the field. It is a great opportunity for us to help our students to advance their professional development.

The Division of Student Affairs and the Division of Access, Opportunity and Success do so much for our students and so much for us as faculty. It's a joy to work with them, and I hope you'll get the same opportunity and be able to see the important things that it does for our students.

The goal of the Disability Resource Center, and Student Affairs more broadly, is to keep the student at the center and create a place where all students belong. The Disability Resource Center helped me do that in my own classroom. Working with the Disability Resource Center has been some of the most meaningful work of my entire career.
