Is there anything about Sarahjoy that stands out to you in her role as teacher?
Hazel Lucey: There are many things that stand out to me about Sarahjoy as a teacher, but I think first and foremost she is a deep listener and her responses always reflect the embodied knowledge of the teachings of yoga that she has and her being the facilitator of our group. I feel like there's so much vulnerability that is allowed and encouraged where in a lot of society that isn't, and I think that allows for so much healing to occur as we're learning to be teachers.
