The board's response to our outcry for fairness has been inadequate. Re-opening the Sick Leave Bank is not enough. Many people do not have the necessary days to donate to the bank to begin with. We should not have to rely on the goodwill of our fellow employees in order to get needed days. Another proposed solution is giving each staff member 2 more paid local days. This barely covers a fraction of the 10 days of quarantine required by district policy.
