Please introduce yourself and tell us your most impactful takeaway from Sage Transform 2022.

Althea Sussman: Hi, I'm Althea Sussman with Dean Norton. We had such a good and productive time at Sage Transform 2022. My favorite part was the exciting news of adding a new data import tool. There's always been the standard CSV import templates, but organizations are dealing with inconsistent data sources and varied needs for their data. Sage Intacct Is making importing data easier so you save time and reduce your frustration. CSV templates are not going away, but sometimes it's hard to tell what fields are required or if they're even relevant. What if the data I want to import is not in the template, and some templates support updating records while others do not. You're also prone to data errors when you're required to save as a CSV file. The new data import will allow me to reverse my imports, make changes, and re-import and no more cryptic error messages! And the biggest plus is being able to load data straight from a report or Excel file that a third party sends me. You just create a mapping from each column to the field in Intacct. Beta testing has begun and the plan is to roll out this tool to the general Intacct community in Release 2 for 2023 and we are all looking forward to that. Thank you!
