Speaker: Omarie Mann, Founder and CEO, Rush The Line

Tell us about you and a little about your company company. Name, title, name of your company, and what your company does.

Omarie Mann: I'm a Omari founder and Ceo of Rush The Line and we are the Uber Eats of the Atlanta airport. Now, I want you to think of a time when you were personally rushing through the airport and that monster in your belly started to grumble. Now, did you really risk missing your flight to stand in line to get food? Probably not. But at least you enjoy those salted pretzels on your plane ride to your destination. During our customer discovery, we found that long lines not only create time and safety issues for the average traveler, but more so for airline crews. But we have a solution rush the line, which is a mobile app that allows airline crews to order food from restaurants within the Atlanta airport and have those items delivered directly to them.

Why did you decide to apply to the Capital Readiness Cohort?

Omarie Mann: Why we chose to apply to the capital rate in this cohort because being in Atlanta, we feel that Atlanta is the Silicon Valley of the South. And even though it's the Silicon Valley of the South, there's still difficulty for black and brown minority on founders access to capital and Zane access give us access to that capital.

How would a scholarship to the cohort support your venture and its goals?

Omarie Mann: The scholarship to the cohort will support our goals by actually giving us a platform. two more founders access to a different network. It also gives us knowledge about moving to the next step of fundraising and and gaining access to more capital around the city, and possibly outside the state of Georgia as well.

What do you hope to take away from the cohort?

Omarie Mann: What we choose to take away from the cohort would be definitely unlimited connections and access to other networks and a path to fundraising and capital, um, also access to capital, because Zane access gives a person like me access, um, and hopefully we want to be able to write those checks to help other founders in the future.
