Speaker: Dr. J. Paulat, DNP, RN

Dr. J. Paulat, DNP, RN: Hello, My name is Dr. J Paulat and I'm new to the full time nurse educator role but have been in education and nursing for quite a while.

Dr. J. Paulat, DNP, RN: It is humbling to be a part of each student's journey to becoming a nurse. I see their struggles and successes, their tears and their smiles. All the while instilling the knowledge and professionalism they need to be confident, safe, and prudent care providers.

Dr. J. Paulat, DNP, RN: I think my biggest impact on students is helping them succeed. Being a nurse educator goes beyond teaching all things nursing. The nurse educators, often the students cheerleader, especially when they are struggling. Providing study tips, a listening ear, and at times grace are all impactful to a student's success. I know I have done my job when a student thanks me at graduation for seeing them through.
