How has your role evolved since you joined LivePerson?
Jennifer Gonzalez Alzate: In the beginning, I was learning a lot. I was trying to understand how the system that I was contributing to was interacting with other pieces of the platform. And then after some time, I was able to proactively provide ideas, identified what could be done to make our lives easier and yeah to help, to improve the system.
What's one piece of advice you would give to any young female engineers?
Jennifer Gonzalez Alzate: The best piece of advice that I could give to any female engineer or girl that is starting or is already in tech is to trust herself. Believe in you. If you want to learn something new, just be patient and keep learning, enjoy what you're doing. Because as long as you enjoy it and you're motivated with the things you're doing, it's just a matter of time to get where you want.
