Speaker: Percy Phillips
Introduce yourself! What's your name? What course were you enrolled in and when?
Percy Phillips: Hi I'm Percy and I was enrolled in the 2021/2022 Community Tarot Course.
What 3 words would you use to describe your experience as a student with us?
Percy Phillips: Three words I'd use to describe my experience in the class was held by community. I did not expect to feel the connection with my classmates that I did through zoom, but I I grew to love them all very dearly.
What really stood out to you or surprised you in the program? (teachers, topics, supplies, staff, or anything else)
Percy Phillips: What stood out to me the most about the experience was the care that everybody really put into it. You could tell that uh, Kursten and Leslie, who helped organize the whole thing, put so much thought into every detail, from the materials to the instructors that were hired, you could tell how much love was really put into the whole experience.
What was your experience of community and connection in the program?
Percy Phillips: I grew, I think, very close actually to multiple different of the students in the class with me. Um, we met in person. I've hung out with a couple of them multiple times now.
What do you plan to do now that you completed your certification?
Percy Phillips: Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. I've been using tarot as a way to further integrate my artistic practices with my intuition, and I just plan on taking that as far as it can go while also figuring out ways to implement all of my other mediums. Together, I took this class mostly to learn the rules, the rules, um, so I could break them so now that I've learned them, it's time to see what happens now that I don't have to adhere to them.
