What was the problem you had that you wanted to solve?
Vanessa Green: Working with Kayana was nothing less than amazing, nothing less. She's very professional. She was very patient, very understanding. And she is well, well knowledgeable when it comes to the real estate world. The problem that I had was trying to sell my home and put more into it than what it may or may not appraise for. So, Kayana simply told me sometimes less is better and putting more into something will not always be a good thing, and she hit the nail on the head. I put in less and I end up getting more.
Why did you choose Kayana Gaines, REALTOR® to help buy or sell your home?
Vanessa Green: I chose to go with Kayana as my realtor for a number of reasons, one being her rating. I've read nothing but amazing reviews about her professionalism, her worth ethic and her determination to get the job done correctly. And another reason is I met Kayana About nine years ago when a complete stranger became a friend. I was young and didn't know a lot about certain items and for her to take the time out, to teach me about specific items, told me a lot about her. And at that rate there was why I was like I'm not going with no one else but her because if she can help a complete stranger "off the clock", I know she can be amazing on the clock.
How did Kayana solve it for you? (the experience)
Vanessa Green: Kayana solved my problems by simply selling my home. She walked me step by step on what I should do, what I should not do, what needs to be picked up, What needs to be laid down, what needs to be painted over, what needs to be left alone and with her professionalism and her knowledge of, you know, of real estate and the dos and don't, we were able to go under contract within a matter of hours and I have never seen anything like it. I've seen home sit on the market for months and months at a time and with her knowing what needs to be done to get the job done, she was able to sell it within a matter of hours.
What challenges did you run into that Kayana Gaines, REALTOR® helped you sort out?
Vanessa Green: I think the question should be, what challenges did Kayana running with me? Me being pigheaded and stubborn, trying to get the most bang for my buck. I kept coming to her, asking her what should I put this in there? Where do you think I get more if I put that in? And I challenged her. She kept telling me, leave it alone, don't touch it, don't buy this, don't buy that, it's not worth it, just stop. So I would say I challenged her, but I would say the most challenging for me was selling my home while I was still in my home. I have a family with little kids, so trying to have open house and you know, walk throughs while I'm still, there having to leave for the weekend, so I can have an open house without me and my family having to come home. I would say that would probably be the biggest challenge that I faced. But throughout this process I think I challenged her more than she challenged me.

Vanessa Green: If I could recommend the world to work with Kayana, I would, as I said before, she is nothing but amazing and very professional. She's very hard working. She gets the job done. She will walk you, hold your hands step by step. I'm telling you what you need to do to have a successful salel or a successful purchase. So yes, I would recommend anybody to work with Kayana.
