What led you to leave high school as a teen? What motivated you to go back to high school at this time in your life?
Samantha P. : What led me to dropping out of high school as a teenager was being young and careless and not realizing the importance of having my diploma. I would have to say that my children are what motivated me to go back and get my high school diploma. Knowing that they are looking up to me and that I'm their role model is what really inspired me. Also, another motivation for me going back and getting my high school diploma would be knowing that now I can go to college and pursue my dreams.
Why did you choose this program?
Samantha P. : I chose to get my high school diploma through Graduation Alliance because it was self-paced and I was able to complete it in the comfort of my own home.
What parts of the program helped you make it to graduation?
Samantha P. : I would have to say the parts of the program that helped me make it to graduation would be the instructors and how nice they were along with being able to do my work and get it completed on a self-paced schedule.
How has your life and/or mindset changed since earning your high school diploma? What are your plans now that you've graduated?
Samantha P. : My mindset has changed since getting my diploma because now I know that anything you put your mind to, you can absolutely do it. My plans now that I've graduated are to go to college to get my bachelor's of science in psychology, and after that, maybe go back for my master's.
What's one piece of encouragement you'd offer someone who is considering this program?
Samantha P. : One piece of encouragement that I would offer to someone who is considering this program is do it. Just do it, like you will not regret it. It is 100% worth the time. It's self-paced. The people are so nice. The instructors, the, you know, the coaches and stuff like that. I mean, this, this program is absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend that if you want to go back and get your high school diploma, this would be the program to do it through.
