Speaker: Natalia W.
Why did you choose this program?
Natalia W.: I did some research online about, you know, earning my diploma or getting a GED and then I came across Graduation Alliance. And I learned that I could do my work online, you know, earn my diploma by doing my work online, which was very convenient for me, considering the schedule I had, which, you know, I worked two jobs, so it's very convenient. And you also have so much support like really with Graduation Alliance there's really no room for failure like you really will succeed because you have your Academic Coach that's there to encourage you that's there to help you every step of the way and you have your teachers that's there for you also, you know, offering tutoring sessions so like with Graduation Alliance like you're going to succeed you're going to win.
What parts of the program helped you make it to graduation?
Natalia W.: So I would have to give a shout out to my Academic Coach Caitlin. She was a big help in character for me through the journey. Pretty much anything that I needed, she was there for me like if I struggled with an assignment, she's like, hey, let me know. I'll help you. So I have to say like that was my biggest help in the program like. Just having my Academic Coach being understanding, being kind and encouraging.
How has your life and/or mindset changed since earning your high school diploma? What are your plans now that you've graduated?
Natalia W.: So sometimes I get really emotional thinking about my earning my diploma because I know and I feel like I really beat the odds that were against me being someone having a learning disability. But it's definitely changed my mindset. It's changed my mindset in a way where I know there's nothing impossible if you have faith and believe in yourself if you have the right support system, the right people that's there and willing, you know, to help you like Graduation Alliance, you will definitely succeed and I am so. You know, I feel so privileged and honored just to come across Graduation Alliance. My journey and my experience have been life changing. And now because of Graduation Alliance, I get to go to college and I get to. You know, have that experience and explore like the field, but, you know, the dream field which is in the medical field that I want to get into so I'm so grateful and I feel so blessed to you know, have come across Graduation Alliance. It's one of the best decisions that I've made.
What's one piece of encouragement you'd offer someone who is considering this program?
