Colbie P. : Hi, my name is Colbie Peck. I am 16 and I'm in the 10th grade.
Why did you enroll at AchievePoint?
Colbie P. : The reason why I came to the school is because my cousin is currently a student at at this school, and she said that you can work at your own pace and it's a great school, so I decided to try it out and I really love this school.
Describe a day in your life as an AchievePoint student.
Colbie P. : When I first come in into school, I start doing my work and then on Fridays we do have a leadership program that I am in. I love the leadership program. It's really fun, very interesting. We also have other programs, exercising, chess, and leadership. We do have prom coming up. I'm excited to go to prom, even though this school is a non-traditional school, but I am so excited.
What part of AchievePoint has been most helpful for you and why?
Colbie P. : The most helpful thing at AchievePoint is I am in a group, math and reading. They help me with a lot of work, especially when I can't understand it. If you do need help with your work, they also do a one on one with you, and I love that. They help you with tools and things like that so you can be successful in life.
How has your life/mindset changed since starting at AchievePoint?
Colbie P. : How has my mindset changed? Having access to my dashboard and looking at my graduation stats, it can go up and down, and when it do go down, it encourages me to work harder and focus on my work.
