What were you experiencing / motivated you to do this retreat?

Melina : I wanted to do Mylène's retreat because she mentioned on her website all about being able to digest stress and go through different traumas that were affecting your present life in your present situation. Um, everything that she'd written online really, really resonated. And so when I met her and we sort of spoke about the process first it was really reassuring to meet such a kind person who was really open about the process and really believed in what they were doing and had incredible warmth as well as professionalism. So when it came to actually starting the sessions, I was feeling really relaxed and, like we had a great report already, and that meant we were able to really dive into some topics that I didn't even know was there, um, a sort of integrating them into the mind and body and being able to move forward where, um, they had been affecting me in my day to day life.

What surprised you most during this retreat?

Melina : What surprised me most about the retreat was the level of depth we were able to get to and also the speed of of how things were going. Um, it was never too quick, and it was never to slow. It was just this really natural place where we just seemed to be churning through so much stuff. Um uh, in some really deep places and some really, um interconnected, um, things that previously had seemed so separate, but being able to draw such a cohesive line of threads throughout all of them just to tie it in really carefully together. It was really beautiful. I really didn't expect to get, um, so much done in such a short amount of time.

What are you leaving with / what changed and what have you learned about yourself during the retreat?

Melina : I am leaving the retreat with a renewed figure with a clear direction and with some more confidence. Um, confidence in what I'm doing, where I'm headed, um, having tools and techniques that I can use basically having built my toolbox and leaving with some meditations so I can continue practising and developing on what we've learned.
