Giorgio Cyphaeus Sease: Good morning, we're here with Gio Cyphaeus at The Grill on the Alley in Beverly Hills. I'm gonna be chatting with Gio about hospitality and restaurants.

Tell us about The Grill on the Alley.

You've been here how many years? Eight years? Eight years. And you were telling me the staff is some of them have been here since day one. Yes. We still have our very first employee, one of my maitre d's, the nighttime maitre d. He has been here since day one. He was the first person hired. I have a bus boy that came in two minutes later and he's still here and the list goes on. Excellent. So obviously you guys are doing something right. The clientele loves coming here and the employees love it as well. So that's awesome. So we'll be chatting with you a bit more about some of the unique challenges. So.

How is Emplicity's expertise integral to running your restaurant?

Well, good thing for Emplicity because the laws keep changing. It's never ending. So to have somebody like Sogi in the business who can always give us the information that we need at the time that we need it so our company can run efficiently and we can have the proper information to give to the employees so we can be in compliance.

How did Emplicity help you reopen?

Calling on a daily basis and sending us the information that we needed and the requirements for hiring everyone back. So I really, really appreciate the help because like I said before, it was never ending on the rules and regulations and how it needs to be. And without Emplicity helping us along it would have been more of a struggle.

How does Emplicity help you with your restaurant HR needs?

Well as far as an HR section is concerned, they usually are up on the latest information. The laws, things that you need for your restaurant. And Emplicitly helped me out tremendously. Sogi's very good about keeping everything that's up to date that we need. So, I would call at a whim and get the answer I need.

What makes your restaurant such a huge success?

Well that's easy because we have great service. Our food is unlike any other. The atmosphere when you walk in the door to the time you leave you get a friendly smile, you will get a neighbor next to you sitting that will talk to you, that will introduce themselves and to see the visual and the people and just how things work. It's a magical place and it makes you feel as though you're somewhere else. Maybe in New York or Chicago or bring back some hidden memory that you have or bump into somebody that you haven't seen since childhood. This is a great place to be.
