Speaker: Dawn Parker
Please introduce yourself in a couple of sentences.
Dawn Parker: Hi, my name is Dawn Parker. I am so excited to join the Dean Dorton family. I come to Dean Norton with over 20 years experience in accounting software consulting. I live outside of Raleigh North Carolina and am married to my husband of 28 years and we have four adult Children. As you can see by my beautiful surroundings, I love to travel with my family. I am currently in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I have vast experience in government and non for profit entities, general implementation services, and analytics - from very basic implementations to the most complex. I look forward to meeting each of you and helping you to further succeed in your software implementations.
What led you to work with accounting software rather than doing traditional accounting work?
Dawn Parker: I was led to accounting software consulting versus normal accounting right in college, when I took an internship at a local CPA Firm. That CPA firm specialized in accounting software consulting. That started the love and passion that I have today, and it's moved on from there.
Please share a few fun facts about yourself.
Dawn Parker: As I stated earlier, I love to travel, but I also like to thrift shop. It's like a treasure hunt to me!
