Please introduce yourself and tell us your most impactful takeaway from Sage Transform 2022.
Tabitha Schmaltz: Hi, I'm Tabitha Schmaltz, a Software Services Manager here at Dean Dorton. One of my favorite things that I learned at Sage Transform 2022 was the ability to be able to create Smart Events and Smart Rules to help validate data that we're entering into the system. One specific scenario that that might be used is when we have new vendors that are being created in the system. We might set a Smart Rule to go validate whether or not those vendors are 1099-able, and if they are require that there is an attachment on the file. So this could go in serve as a way for us to keep track of those W-9's on 1099-able vendors and collect that information and validate that we're receiving it as those vendors are being created throughout the year instead of having to figure out all that information in January when we're trying to compile our 1099's And that's just one example of how we could use the Smart Events and Smart Rules, but I think it would be a really cool way to expand the Sage Intacct offering and was a great takeaway from Transform.
