What's your favorite part of working remotely?
Jazmin Garcia: My favorite part of working remotely is being able to play my music as loud as I want, plus the snack bar is only a few feet away, and I have cats.
What parts of our mission do you connect with?
Jazmin Garcia: I connect with our mission as far as it gives me purpose. I like that my job helps small businesses thrive and further the dollar in their respective communities.
How do you stay inspired when working from home?
Jazmin Garcia: It can be hard to stay inspired when working from home, but I think the key for us has been intentionality and just boosting morale through virtual, like fun, laid back meetings. I can say that I feel close to colleagues that I hadn't met in person, and I think that's pretty remarkable.
What stands out to you about working at AVB?
Jazmin Garcia: Working at AVB is synonymous with having a purpose. I feel motivated by watching my colleagues and even those from other departments work hard to honor the member's needs. And I think that, in turn, inspires me to work hard to honor my colleagues
