What impact will the dues restructuring have on your department
Andrew Rhinehart: If the dues restructure were to pass, that would provide a major sigh of relief on our department. Again, even following CBA, we are currently feeling the weight and impact of these raises and how it affects our budget, and we are currently struggling to keep pace with the level of support that everyone has come to expect from APFA safety and security. And it's ultimately unsustainable if we're unable to have the dues restructure passed as we move up the pay scale, uh, myself and my reps, we will not be able to afford to staff this department, um, fully to be able to provide support 24/7 like we currently do. If this were to pass, though, we would be able to then provide more shifts for representatives to where we could have full staffing 24/7. We could have uh enough attention being paid, if not more than what we're used to in the past, to all affected crew members in critical incidences, and it would allow for more opportunities for our members to get involved with APFA safety and security.
