GALVIN CELLO QUARTET
Galvin Cello Quartet: Hi,. We're the Galvin Cello Quartet. I'm Sydney. Luiz. Hadden. Sihao. And we're coming to you from Vail, Colorado. We just finished up our residency with the Bravo Vail Music Festival. We just wanted to wish the Arts Council of Moore County a happy 50th birthday. We're so excited to come celebrate with you at our performance this coming March. We're putting together a really special program that's revolving a really special piece to us, which is Gabriel Elena Franks' "Leyendas: An Andean Walkabout." This is a piece that speaks to her background, which is of Asian South American, and North American descent, which is very similar to our background as a group. So, it's a piece that speaks to all of our backgrounds combined and it's really special for us. Like what Luiz said, the Franks piece is our core. Along with Frank's composition, we also bring you a lot of exciting repertoire and we can't wait to share with you and we hope to see you there.
