Kerrie Kelly: Hi, I'm Kerrie Kelly from Kerrie Kelly studio, and I had the honor of receiving the Design Luminary Award in 2012 and the Designer Distinction Award in 2024.
Provide a few details on how winning your award has impacted you personally and/or professionally.
Kerrie Kelly: Receiving these awards were both meaningful milestones in my career. It's been a reminder about why I'm so passionate about interior design. And has opened doors to collaborate with amazing brands and connect with the design community in new ways. This recognition also highlights the outstanding work of so many talented designers, inspiring all of us, whether we're a seasoned professional or just starting out. Just keep pushing those boundaries and that creativity. And I have to say ASID has really been a vital part of that journey.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about applying to an ASID awards program?
Kerrie Kelly: I encourage others to apply to the awards program or nominate a friend who you feel is worthy, someone who inspires you, and someone who you feel is really moving the needle in interior design.
