What's your background?
Ifrah Arif: Hi, my name is Ifrah and for the past nine months now I've had the pleasure of working with some incredible people here at ADA as a solutions consultant.
What is the remote culture like at Ada?
Ifrah Arif: I joined Ada during the pandemic, which meant that I had to onboard remotely. I've never done anything like this before, so it's a little nerve wracking. But the HR team at Ada as well as my manager, made the process as smooth as possible. I received all of my equipment well ahead of my start date. I received a really nice welcome package as well, and I was ready to hit the ground running from day one. The training was also completely remote, but it was very thorough and very easy to get through.
What qualities do people need to be successful here at Ada?
Ifrah Arif: Taking initiative, thinking outside the box and being a team player I think are all key qualities that make someone successful at Ada. We move at a really fast pace and are always looking to continuously improve the company as a whole, as well as the product. And everyone at Ada really welcomes feedback and loves the opportunity to learn and work with each other.
What do you love about working at Ada, and being part of the Solutions Consulting team?
Ifrah Arif: I've made amazing connections with the people at Ada despite being remote because of the emphasis that Ada places on team building and ensuring that there is always this open and comfortable space for everyone to freely share their ideas, share their thoughts and even ask for help. My favorite thing about working with the solutions consulting team is the ability to learn from these amazingly talented people. I've learned so much working at eight of the past nine months and I've seen myself grow and become more confident in my role. All thanks to the amazing team that I have supported me.
