What I've enjoyed most about Sketch Awesome, I think, is the, the variety of different things that we've done, from people portraits to animals to landscapes and using a wide variety of media.
One of the things I did enjoy about Sketch Awesome is the use of different materials and combining different materials, which I would never think of doing.
No question about it. Sketch Awesome has helped me incredibly with portraits of people and animals. Also, experimenting with different media, especially gouache.
The group of people who are part of this series of lessons are wonderful supporters. Whatever ability we have, we don't care. We just enjoy each other's work, and everything we post, there's always something good.
I absolutely recommend Sketch Awesome, not only for hobby artists, but for any artist, for any person who likes to draw or express themselves through a sketchbook.
I have recommended Sketch Awesome to others and I think they could really benefit from participating in consistent tutorials and I'm glad I had this opportunity.
The thing I like is the lessons are short. Of course, I would recommend these Courses for artists. If you're new, you learn different mediums, that's what I like the most.
I've found that it stirs me up and makes me do stuff, whereas it's so easy to put it off and think, "Oh, I haven't got time for that now"... but you can make time and you certainly can. Go ahead!
I would definitely recommend Sketch Awesome. I think because having a challenge each week or each time that you decide to do some artwork is quite challenging, it makes you work in a different way to a way that you might know or you might have done before.
Phil's lessons are very professionally laid out. They take the time. They show you the different stages. And then they give you the chance to do it yourself without having a time pressure on you.
